The Jurassic Coast

This past weekend was a long weekend, so we headed to the coast to Poole to visit with Carlo's parents, nan, brother and sister. It was fantastic. On Monday, we went to the Jurassic Coast, 185 million years worth of coast line where many dinosaur fossils have been found. You could see the layers of the earth's plates that had been pushed up and curled over, I had never seen anything like it up close. The weather was beautiful, patchy sun with a strong wind and that wonderful scent of salty kelp. I love the coast, it's so refreshing and cleansing.

We went to the Boscombe Pier and Jasmine had her first experience down at the shoreline. Grandad Tony also bought a bubble machine and Jasmine was so intrigued by all the floating bubbles, it was excellent fun.

I took some time out for deep breathing this weekend, and with all the great clean air, my sinuses opened up and i felt some relief of the stresses that have been bogging my world. One word- WORK. I have never been so disgusted with the lack of management. It's been so weak, we've lost moral in the office, and half of the staff have submitted resignations. I am continuing to look at opportunities but I am being selective and don't want to just jump for the sake of jumping. It has to make sense, and it has to feel right. This month will be a true test of my patience. It takes every effort to endure an 8 hour day there, the energy could not be more horrible. I know that it all falls into place as it should. It did when i left MINI. And it will when I leave Damac. It is all in the grand master plan.

Carlo isn't able to come to the wedding in Holland. He's got to fly to Singapore for work so i'll be heading over with my family and then returning to London on my own. I'm excited to see everyone, i can't believe how fast the time flies. I do feel that summer will bring some key new and good things.
